Although it is impossible to literally travel back in time, could one move virtually toward the past by tracing sound?
As a sound installation coexisting with improvising musicians and dancers, multiple devices manipulating the timeline were placed throughout the venue. Drawn toward the sounds of their own past performances, the performers gathered around them, playfully interacting through sound with their past selves and present selves.

Several microphones installed in the venue recorded sounds performed in their vicinity. For example, sounds made immediately after the performance began were played back just before the performance ended, while sounds made 30 minutes after the start were replayed 30 minutes before the end.
