Although it is impossible to actually turn back time, I wondered whether it might be possible to move toward the past by retracing sound. As a sound installation coexisting with improvisational musicians and dancers, I set up multiple devices in the venue that manipulate the time axis. As a result, I was able to witness them being drawn to and gathering around the sounds of their own past, playing with sound across past and present.
