This work, “FALLS,” pairs the experience of the sound of falling water and its visual coincidence with the sensation of an ambiguous environment coming to fruition all at once in a waterfall, with the gradual return to the environment when leaving that place.

The “bell” used in this work is a physical representation of sound in a non-time-based state, as a material for establishing a relationship with the environment, and for its affinity with the large volume of sound Hosoi usually deals with in the multiple recording process he works with.
